CHRIS MAIER

Contractors, CLOSERS & CONNECTIONS

Chris is the Founder of the CCC and launched the 1st Chapter in 2019 in Atlanta, and has since helped to launch over a dozen Chapters throughout the United States. 

He is a Founder of the Atlanta, New York City & Nashville Chapters of CCC.  

The Executive Leadership Teams that he formulates are primarily comprised of real estate development, investment and finance professionals to establish uniformity across the brand. 

In Atlanta alone, Chris possesses a database of over 10,000+ active commercial real estate contacts that frequent his private events.  

He formerly served the commercial real estate development industry as Director of Acquisitions at The Montalto Group, formerly served the commercial construction industry at the Director level of Cooper & Company General Contractors, and also gained facility management experience as a Department Manager of Lone Rover Construction.

Chris gained experience working on behalf of BOMA (Building Owners & Managers Association) where he first gained an understanding as to the inner-workings of a successful real estate association, and utilized this experience in order to formulate the CCC.

He has been involved in the successful brokerage & development transactions under the role of “consultant” for multifamily, industrial, office and retail asset classes.

Chris is also a commercial real estate investor into multifamily developments as an Limited Partner.

He and his wife own and operate a short-term residential real estate vacation rental business, Stargazer Hideaway Rentals. 

Chris is currently a Board Member of FREED (Freedom through Real Estate Education for Doctors) and RARE (Real Athletes in Real Estate).  

Chris formerly served 501c3 non-profit charities on the Board of Directors Member for Mentor Me North Forsyth to mentor young men and women in the community where he was raised, and as Vice President of Hands Across Atlanta to assist the less-fortunate homeless population in Atlanta.  Chris previously sat on the Board of Directors for LAI (Lambda Alpha International) Land Economics Society in Atlanta. 

He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and an MBA from University of The Rockies. He is a fitness enthusiast, and an avid supporter of United States veterans.

Chris is extremely passionate about serving others through the CCC by assisting professionals to establish new relationships, uplifting them in their careers, and improving their overall quality of life.

James Touchton brings over fifteen years of experience in a wide range of issues, including economic development, policy, government affairs, transportation, and transit, planning and zoning and community relations. 

Touchton received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Kennesaw State University, where he graduated Cum Laude and served both as Student Government President and as a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. His experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Georgia State Senate, longtime Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the Council for Quality Growth, representing the growth and development community at the local and state levels, a Director of Economic Development within the metro-Atlanta region and served as a marketing consultant with a focus in social media for the Georgia Department of Labor.

James is a proud graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute, Leadership Cobb, Georgia Academy for Economic Development and is working on completing the Georgia Certified Economic Developer Program Certificate through the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute. Touchton has served on several boards and leadership committees, including Kennesaw State University’s Political Science and Master of Public Administration Board, Advance Atlanta, the Policy Leadership Institute, Leadership Cobb Economic Development Day Committee and worked to establish the Council for Quality Growth’s Emerging Leaders Initiative.

ANNA SPENCE

VIVID DEVELOPMENT

As a Business Development professional, Anna is passionate about building relationships and delivering value to clients and connections in all sectors of the industry.

With her efforts on the leadership team for VIVID Group and her local position as a representative for Atlantic Waste Services, Inc she has created and executed effective strategies for various products and services.

In these roles, she has successfully educated leaders, connected individuals and promoted new brand growth in sectors such as government, hospitality, commercial real estate, construction, renovation, restoration and commercial waste management.

GRANT GORDON

VIVID DEVELOPMENT

Grant works in the commercial real estate development sector with a focus on the hospitality industry, specifically hotels. He holds the position of Pre-Construction Project Coordinator at Vivid Development and is an HVS Certified Hotel Appraiser.

In his role at Vivid Development, Grant excels in organizing and coordinating pre-construction activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among all stakeholders. This role has honed his skills in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Grant’s experience in event coordination is highlighted by his significant contribution to the Design Communication Association International Conference 2021 at KSU Marietta Campus. As a key organizer, he demonstrated exceptional ability to thrive in collaborative environments and prioritize group success.

Currently, Grant brings these skills to the CCC, where he plays a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating events, ensuring effective communication and successful outcomes for all involved parties.
